Mental Health Tip of The Day: Properly Prepare

There’s a message of wisdom that says, “(P)roper (P)lanning (P)revents (P)oor (P)erformance” also known as the 5Ps of Success! I can’t tell you who coined this wisdom but I can assure you they are correct!

What’s in your Personal Advocacy Plan?

Proper- If you are going to complete a project, there are people, places, and things that need to be in place to ensure the project is successfully completed. In the business world this would be your SOP(Standard Operating Procedure).

Planning- This is truly the meat of the matter. Planning requires, time, thought, and details. Taking 30 minutes to plan can have the greatest impact on the remainder of your life! Planning is essential!

Prevents- Failing to plan is planning to fail!! I have so many examples of why this is true. However,  I will simply share the fact that much loss can be prevented by preparation.

Poor- If you’re going to do it, you may as well do it right the first time. Half doing an assignment can be cost effective and time consuming! Because 9 times to 10, you’ll have to do it AGAIN and AGAIN until you do it right! You know, how the kids be throwing everything under the bed instead of in its PROPER place.  Then you spring clean and get attacked by the trash monster! Yeah, like that!😂😂

Performance- Ahhh chest out and chin up because you about to k1ll it huh!!! Doing the job you applied for, completing the assignment(s) you were created for, doing what it is you do!! This is the confidence of prepared performance! Don’t you want to feel the confidence?! 💪🏾
